December has finally arrived and the city is filled with festive season and the warmth of holiday. Currently i'm having holiday after juggling project submission, Couture Fashion Week (see the first review on the post below this one), and spending time with my family while they were here- all at one stretch of a week. I barely had some sleep like two-three hours per day i guess during that week (but everything was done well nevertheless), so I think now I can at least breathe for a while.
Picnic dress. Nine West shoes. Forever 21 tank top. Carrie K bangle
Received this velvet navy dress with slight turtleneck from Picnic. It's sweet and simple and i think it's perfect for holiday dinner. For this outfit, I made hair bun to keep the look minimal with a touch of elegance.
This weekend, we went for dinner not too far from my place (scroll down for the food review). Totally love these stretch of christmas light upon the trees. The decor is classic and simple, unlike the one at Orchard road which i think is too much, the red glare hurts my eyes.
totally love the cut out back details!
paired it with simple black leather pumps and my usual arm candy, swatch and carrie k bangle.
That day I had dinner at a cozy restaurant tucked in the peaceful neighborhood of Serangoon Garden. Arbite has range of western menu, including comfort food like pancakes and english breakfast as well as foie gras.
Tried the egg benedict $12 and i think it's one of the best in town! our other order are mushroom soup and the ham fetuccini $20. The dessert is nice, it's tiramisu with gula melaka $8, makes a great end to the dinner, but i think it is too sweet for me so we can't finish it. Oh they're having 10% discount promotion with UOB card.
