It is always interesting to browse through Haute Couture, especially from one of my favourite Couturier, Stéphane Rolland. I saw his collection at Singapore Women's Fashion Week, and they are totally amazing in person. So here it is, the latest Automne Hiver 2012-2013.
The collection is presented with some embellishment of feathers and ostrich feathers inserts. Silk, crepe, satin, organza and silicon is crafted in color palette of nude, white, burgundy, and brown. Flare shape and frontal slits become the extra details.
duo tone number in ankle length and floor-length evening dresses is embellished with leather harness belt for the tough look.
Bustier silk gown with feather and metallic ornaments on chest and waist is combined with sheer flare bottom of floor sweeping trail and slit for that trompe-l'oeil drama.
Last but not least, high waist tapered trousers and jumpsuit- completed with cape and major waistcoat with extra length created a simply epitome of luxury for daytime and night time.

To me, his vision and work ethics is so inspiring, I look up to him as one of the fashion industry icon that not only push the couture culture forward but really put a dress to embody a woman's spirit and attitude. Photos were taken backstage after his WFW show.
